Meghan Gardiner is a Canadian actor and writer, most notably known for her one woman show, Dissolve, which has been touring North America since 2003.
She has performed in theatres across the country in such productions as The Sound of Music, I Lost My Husband, Office Hours, Beauty and the Beast, The Music Man, Dead Metaphor, A Christmas Story, Becky Shaw, Blood Brothers, My Fair Lady, Gunmetal Blues, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change!, Anne of Green Gables, [title of show], and Hedwig and the Angry Inch. She was the playwright in residence for Green Thumb Theatre, penning Blind Spot and Role Call, the latter garnering her the Sydney Risk Award at the 2012 Jessie Richardson Theatre Awards. Meghan was nominated for best performance and best screenwriting at the 2013 Leo Awards for Stalled, a short film that visited 54 international film festivals, and won numerous awards, including Best Short Film, Best Actress, Audience Choice Award and Best Experimental Film. Meghan’s television credits include Motherland, The Good Doctor, Supergirl, The Arrangement, Beyond, Package Deal, Backstrom, Smallville, The L Word and Cold Squad. Meghan is a YWCA Woman of Distinction nominee, and lives in Vancouver with her husband and son.
